Additional Test & Tune Dates Added For Lincoln & Macon Speedways

                Due to the early demand of on track time, officials at Track Enterprises have announced two additional test and tunes before the start of the 2017 racing season.  The newly added dates are Saturday, March 25th at Lincoln Speedway and Sunday, March 26th at Macon Speedway.

                The two new dates are in addition to the four already scheduled between the two facilities.  Drivers will be able get track time from 12:00-4:00 PM on each of the six days, with pits opening at 11:00 AM.  The three Lincoln dates are March 25, April 2, and April 9, while the three Macon dates are March 26, April 1, and April 8.  Pit cost is $20 for adults and $10 for kids 11 and under.  Grandstand admission is free on practice days.

                The unofficial start to the season will be the racecar show at Hickory Point Mall, coming up next weekend, Friday, March 17-Sunday, March 19.  Cars will enter the mall on Thursday night at mall closing and be on display all weekend before exiting the mall at 5:00 on Sunday.  There is no cost to enter the show and a few spots still remain.

                The Macon Speedway season opener is set for Saturday, April 15 with a six division show on the docket.  In addition to racing for UMP Pro Late Models, Billingsley Towing UMP Modifieds, UMP B-Mods, UMP Sportsman, UMP Street Stocks, and UMP Hornets, opening night will have a special pre-race on track autograph session and a CEFCU Kid’s Club Night.

                For Lincoln Speedway, the season opener is on Friday, April 21 with an action packed card, including UMP Pro Late Models, UMP Modifieds, UMP Street Stocks in the Midwest Street Stock Championship Series opener, UMP Hornets, and POWRi DII Midgets presented by Nutech Seed.
