Update on 2013 D Tire Rule for Mods and Street stocks

Due to the recent rain outs at Lincoln Speedway we are extending our tire rule change to the same as our good friends at Macon Speedway for the Modifieds and Street stocks. We hope this helps our drivers.

Opening Night through June 1- D’s, A’s and H’s will be allowed on all four wheels

After June 1st through June 30th- Only A’s or H’s will be allowed on Right Rear. No D’s on Right rear. Left Rear and both fronts D’s, A’s, or H’s will be allowed.

After June 30th- Only A’s or H’s will be allowed on Right Rear and Left Rear. No D’s will be allowed on rear of car. D’s, A’s, or H’s will be allowed on fronts until further notice.

We are attempting to make it better for our racers and also attempting to let the racers use up any extra D tires they may have.

Prayers for Punk Benefit Race- $300 to Win

This Friday night will be a special night of racing for the Compact class at Lincoln Speedway Lincoln, IL. We are having a 300.00 to win and 30.00 to start Compact race for a former driver in the Compact class. Punk O’Donoghue and his family have been long time supporters of Lincoln Speedway and racing in general. Punk has been diagnosed with Lou Gehrig’s disease and Stage 2 lung cancer. Please come out to the track and support Punk and his family.

We are also having a 50/50 drawing. Proceeds will be donated to Punk O’Donoghue’s benefit.

Lets make this a big night for Punk and his family.
